Rick Battelle joined Express Scripts in June 2011 as director on the Fraud, Waste & Abuse Services team. Prior to joining Express Scripts, Rick was the managing director for Electronic Tracking Systems. His primary role was in business development while partnering with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies throughout the North Central Region in combating crime. Rick has more than16 years of law enforcement leadership experience with the St. Louis County Police Department. His law enforcement career included various assignments, such as Bomb & Arson Investigations Commander, Special Investigations Unit, DEA Task Force and SWAT Team.

Prior to his law enforcement career, Rick served honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He's a graduate of the Redstone Arsenal FBI Commanders Bomb Squad leadership school and a graduate of Columbia College where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration. In April 2011, Rick was elected to the O'Fallon Missouri City Council and is now serving his second term after being re-elected in 2013. He is actively involved with the Crime Stoppers Organization and sits on its board.
